For control rigging
I have seen boat builders use pcv pipe in the hull to rig steering and controls.
Center console boats are built with this a lot and bass boats for power to front deck.
Now as using it for a stringer? Humm, bon't think I like that!

My bassboat has a piece of PVC down the center, but it's to drain water through the hull. It's glued NEXT to the stringer.
SDHave you ever stopped to think............and forget to start again?

Ya I got a pretty good memory
It was a Mirage that I seen like that. pretty sure it was a Pole cat. Also pretty sure it won races because of that PVC system.

#1 as far as resin sticking to PVC- im not so sure it does, sounds like trouble to me.
#2- one of the nascar boys in the big block days had trap doors on hollow frame rails. they filled the frame up with lead shot to make weight, then going around the track the driver pulled the door and all the lead shot rolled out. i think it was fireball roberts but im not sure on that.> Stainless steel Merc cowling plates - $110 shipped TYD - LINK <

Nope!!!!
Resin will not bond to pcv, if you ruff it up it will help hold. But there is no bonding at all. The makeup of these 2 plastic's is very differant.
