    Hi Craig and Jeff

Craig, the hoses come straight out of the helm forward then turn, and the strain relief goes to the engine/cylinder end.

Jeff, unfortunately, they don't have a high perf version of the HC5348 (it would be an HC 6348 if they made one) cylinder yet, which is the one your motor would need. '91 and up 40 thru 250 can use an HC5345, though, so you might be able to either switch some parts around, or drill your tiller arm to fit it.

    Thanks Rick,
one last question, the fittings on the cylinder point to port, the helm is starboard and the hoses will be run along the starboard side. Do the hoses need to loop across the transom and bent back to the fittings or do the fittings need to be turned 180. I thought I read in the instructions that the fittings were not to be touched.
    Thanks for all your help,

    Craig

They say your not supposed to turn the fittings.....

but lots of people do anyway. I've not heard of any problems doing it.
