    Cracked STV

Is this type of cracking normal for an STV? It is the same on both sides. This is from a 2003 model with 40 hours.

This boats owner told me Wally said it was normal and gave me his # to call but I haven't done that yet. Just seems abnormal to me!

Have it ground out and regelled. Looks like a cosmetic gel crack nothing major. We see that quite a bit with new boats.

looks like someone might have tried to stand on the back deck of the hull. I think some people who get these boats don't understand how carefull you have to be around them. They go fast because they are light, and because they are light you sometimes have to tell people where you can and can't stand or put weight. I am sure that could be fixed to look like new for very cheap. Make sure you get an exact match on the gel colour or I would not even bother doing it, it will look worse if the colour is off. You can always test the gel colour match on a area of the boat that you really don't see very much. I would just leave it.
