    My new DHL account

I just opened an account with DHL, they seem to be substantially cheaper than UPS and with the same guarantees, transit times and they have yellow trucks. UPS seemed to be getting WAAAAAAAY too proud of their service, anybody else think their prices are a bit ridiculous?

Not defending UPS but--we ship many packages a day via UPS and their service is very good. What is excessive in today's world?? 5 pounds across the country for under $10. 110 pounds Minnesota to Seattle for under $65. I personally think that is very fair. Gas is $2!!!

According to UPS, DHL does not intend to ever offer coverage to 100% of the country as UPS does. They currently do not and do not intend to pick up daily from outstate locations as mine. They only want to pick the PRIME routes. Same old story--specialized servers can target customers and offer better service at cheaper rates. I have used UPS's competitors in the past for regional service and while they are cheaper, I usually ended up getting the shaft in the long run due to poor help.

    DHL

I was ordering parts for my Paintball guns from the U.K. and DHL was 1/3 the price of U.P.S.

    The latest instance

that I had a complaint with UPS, I had to overnight a helmet(8lbs. 1 cubic foot box)from Chicago to Spokane WA, UPS was $99.00, USPS was $30.00. That was what made me open a DHL account.
