Stratos ?
Did Stratos make a ski boat with a v-bottom that looked like a 180-200 VT?Was it faster?

I think so, it's been a while (10 years)
GP:
I recall a friend of mine who was a Stratos rep at the time bringing a Checkmate looking Stratos vee hull ski boat to the lake
(Old Hickory) a few times. I think it was a 20'er. It ran very well.
He could drive, and it had a "limited edition" looper OMC on it.
I also saw a (STV) vee hull version at Roark's factory/shop in Hendersonville, TN. It looked like one of his Laser 380 Ray vee hulls (very popular in early MVP racing), capped with a 18' tunnel vee deck. It was the only one of it's type I'm aware of. This boat was stickered STV, however.

stratos
Thanks Steve.I know they made a 201 SKI based off the 201 pro bass boat hull, but it was like a bow rider. For some reason I recall a stratos ski boat with a closed bow exactly like a 180-200 VT Rocket but it had a regular V-bottom hull. Its racking my brain trying to remember what it was called!maybe someone on here will remember. Thanks again,Tripp

AFAIK they did not make a boat like you described...
The only Ski boats (other than 180/200VT) that I've ever seen from stratos are all Fish/Ski models with an open bow. Maybe you saw a one-off or prototype model? I have a 200VT and it looks very much like a vee hull when it's in the water. Actually, it looks like a vee when it's sitting on the trailer as well. Without bending over and looking at the hull, you'd probably never know it's a tunnel vee.
