Maybe that's my problem. I always drive with light power. 70 Nissan on the Voo Doo, XR4 on the Allison.
I'd still take the bet than on a random day my Nissan will outrun the 650XS. On a good day the 650XS would run and hide.

In 1986 we ran at Dunnville with my 1972 Delta/Evinrude running about 68+mph with a Titus 12 1/2 x 23 cleaver and had a 1st and three 2nds...That was the last race for the Delta but I ran my Critchfield/Evinrude in 87 and was able to win all 4 heats.THAT WAS THE GOOD OLD DAYS.....Jim...EP 302

Hey Steve
Its nice to hear from you...You were the most fun to watch in the old Dunnville tapes...that boat was awsome and you did a heck of a good job driving it.When you got the gearcase fixed and a decent prop I can remember watching you from behind and there was no way of catching you.You had to have a couple MPH on me at least...Anyway best wishes to you and Merry Christmas...Jim

Thir third buy was Dave Unger from Brockville, Ontario. I was in a 1974 Hydrostream Vixen (fourth boat). This was an old boat. It was more popular in the ealier days, late 70s.

1987: White 150lb Voodoo at the bottom of the St. Lawrence River.
1987: Red, Black & White Voodoo at the bottom of the Detroit River.
1988, 1989: Red, Grey & White Voodoo. Sold to a guy in Toronto.

Hello, I am a new member. I have been here for a while but I can now finally post replys. I have a 2006 voodoo with a omc 70 on her. It ran 60 on the gps and I thought I was slow. Maybe not now. However the motor is in the shop getting a retarted porting. Going big or blowing up. I live here in central Ontario boating in the Gloucester pool area. I would love to meet up with you guys during the boating season.

Sure, It sounds like a great time getting to know a few of you guys. Thanks for replying. You guys are welcome here as well. Don't mind the merc tach in the boat, there is a matching livorsi tach if it ever gets fixed. Trying to keep two hands on the wheel with a hot foot pro under the dash as well.
