Actually most of those companies were the same guy, he would sell the molds for big money, then find a reason to sue you and get them back.

I wonder if it would work if you cut the at deck off it and made it a kneel down

What do you guys think the appetite is for a little 17' with a 60-90?
This Larry Smith design is a jet, and a mold is in the works for an OB version. It's light and a good hull, I think it's a 20 degree dead rise with a pad.

17' with a 60 or a 90 would probably be a little big for that power, if it can float more it may get some attention, just my opinion though, 17' kind of falls into a weird spot, especially for only 60 HP. Interesting looking hull though, what kind of powerplants do they put in them? And how fast?

    It's a small 17, light, modest beam. With a 90 it would probably run 60+. 50+ with a 60.

I modified an old 10ft Disney Mercury water mouse with a reinforced transom and bracing to stick a Tohatsu TDLI 50hp on it. It was downright dangerous.

When I was young, back when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I thought that a 15' v-hull with a Merc 4 cylinder 85 was the ideal family boat. Essentially an OPC G Production boat. I am a little jaded now, but still the right idea for a small, fun boat. Maybe one day I will finish the restoration on our Hydrostream Vandal, which is a little smaller but served me and my kids well for many, many years with a v-4 90.
    Per Rock:

"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."

    Per my hero Instigator:

"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."
