    Yes, Kober Kats go back to the 1960's. One of the first, if not the first fiberglass picklefork

    My uncle Dennis Hammond ran a little black 13' kober kat in the
    early 80's when they used to race what they called a roll and go
    start if any of you hung around races much in the 1980's you'll
    remember the boat, it was called Double Vision. He Ran a Merc
    200 on it with a shot of NOS and it clipped the lights between
    99 to 102 mph on every pass. That boat was almost unbeatable
    for a long time infact, the only outboards that gave him a run for his money where the little allisons. The allys where a little quiker
    but when the kober kat got 1/8th track LOOK OUT. Anyway, he finally pushed that boat to its limits and retired it. At about 105
    the back end of the boat acually lifted out of the water and tried
    to nose dive and he never got back in it again. I would love to find
    one to play with but I think there almost extinct.

    GOCat

    This is my brother's "GoCat". It was a 10-40 hp. boat, but we made the boat stronger and and mada new transom. Now it has got a Yamaha 70 C (C for competition) It runs 70 mph. and is fun and stable to drive...

    If you are going to find a C70 Yamaha, search inthe UIM S850 class racing. There are lots of them, and we bought our really cheap!

    10.5, I would look in the UK, it would be easier to import them from there. Those motors are in the s850/F4 class.
