We like to go different places with our boat. I don't know about you but we just love
our laser. We did not know anything about the boat when we bought it but I started
looking up the name on the net. When we found out what we had bought and the great shape it was in we felt very lucky. It had been stored inside it is still on the original trailer and has the original cover. It has a 175 Merc on it and when my husband puts his foot into it the boat sits up on it's rear and really takes off. I love it when people ask us what kind of boat it is no one here has heard of them. It is a
    great performing boat!!!
You guy's are up by kansas city we live about 2 1/2 -3 hours south of there we go to grand lake alot in grove oklahoma there is only 3 lasers on the lake that i know of including mine but there is alot of allisons and jet boats and a few hydros that we pick on.

Yes we are. The only laser we have seen is ours but last weekend I was driving and had a guy come up on my left side (you know the type fancy boat so it must be faster and better than yours), my husband ask if I saw him I said yes and put the pedal down the butt in the water the nose in the air and that was the last we saw of
him LOL I love it. I water ski but had open heart surgery this spring so I have to
wait until next summer, but I did tube behind it and boy it was great, can't wait to ski. Keep kicking their backsides!!!! LOVE MY LASER
PS There are some pics that I posted of ours just after we bought it.

RevmanII, I would like to ask you a question about the color of your boat. I LOVE IT!!
Did you buy it like that or did you have it painted like that?? I am going to have mine
painted next year, and I have a friend who does fancy detailing so he is going to do
my boat. But your colors are really great. Kansas Laser

I have an 1989 laser 420 ray special edition. it looks like a bigger version of the 380 ray. My question is i have a johnson gt200 running a 13 3/4 x 23 pitch ballistic prop and a para lift 12" setback jack plate. no low water pickup but have raised motor once and hit 82 until the temp alarm went off!!! i know i need lwp but what prop and pitch would be good on this setup to get more speed out of her? also does anyone know what the rev limiter is on a stock 1989 johnson gt 200? thnks for any advice!!

    What model do I have?

    Hello Laser owners,
I recently purchased a 1987 19' Laser Boats of Texas boat from a from a co-worker but have had some trouble determining exactly which model I have. Atached are some pics. I think it is a 380 Ray Ski but I also saw a model called a 380 Ray Ski Signature, so any body know the difference in these two models?

    Thanks,
    George
