so is this a 380 that has been stretched or are there differences in the hull? could you throw up some pics of the bottom, interior, pad, etc... I'm intrigued now!

looks like a stretched 380 to me from what I can see which is pretty cool... would be sweet if it had the original deck design. or even a bow rider version would be semi neat.

HI I just bought a 1989 Laser Bass 3880 and it is in great condition. We just love it
but it only has a 175 Merc on it--but it has live wells, 2 fish finders (yea right) trolling
motor and on top of that it will get up and fly for pulling skiers or tubers. I hope I got
the picture thing down--if not I will try again. Kansas LaserLast edited by kansas laser; 07-09-2009 at 08:14 PM. Reason: take a pic out that did not show

How many lasers do you own and do you race? I saw your boats when I was lookinjg
around and I am curious about the red one. It looks so light weight.

They are very nice looking. When I was cleaning the boat after a day outing I found a plaque that said a boat dealers name in Kentucky, how this got to Kansas I have no idea. But it deffinately has not been used much and has been stored inside. It is
on a oklahoma trailer which I was told that they came on at one time. The cover is also original also. But it is missing the winsheild, if you know of some where that I
could get one please let me know. I just love the little boat.

glad you are enjoying it! A old friend of mine bought a Laser 3800 bassboat (like yours) back in 1982..brand new... that was my first experience with them ( i was 12 at the time ). I was hooked ever since then.
Your boat looks pristine... looks like it has found a good home!1983 Laser LTV w/ 2.0 Merc

yep, they came on Oklahoma trailers back then... the windshield you might be able to get from Laser if you can get ahold of Ron or whoever has it now.

Thanks for info I tried to call but got a recording, but I don't give up that easy, I will keep trying. I also need new decals. We just love the boat and yes it has found a
good home, we have already made arrangements to store it inside this winter.
