The molds we got were a pop of the original, we traded the guy 2 used wetbikes for them and built 4 boats out of them only one was for a sale the others were all for me. My buddy was able to find his on Facebook market place. There are a few out there some good some potato chips with lots of stress cracks.

**that motor on there says xr4, which IS a 2.4 liter engine, though listed as a 150hp I always believed them to be slightly underrated..
Any idea how fast that xr4 outboard pushed that hull?

ID:	4822241984 Laser LTV I picked up this last summer, has a 1980 vertical reed 2.4 200 right now, planning to rig my 2.5 EFI 200. i have a 6" rapid jack I can put on it when i swap motors. Is that a good amount of setback for a LTV. 20" bass mid with a bobs cone

    That boat is gorgeous!!

**I don't think it's the right boat for you, I know I'm leaning towards a 380, but I'll do you a solid and buy it from you with the old 2.4 on it.. no problem, you're very welcome. LMAO..

Looking for help on production dates based on hull i.d. #

I'll have to get the history from him and get some of my more computer literate buddies to teach me about makin websites. I think we will find that the production numbers of the non-bass boats is pretty small, but I'm interested in hearing from all thr Laser owners cause bottom line is that they are kick-ass boats. Have you seen the "history of STV" at STV.com ?? It starts out with the words "Laser boats of Texas..........." That says it all.....it all started with Laser!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this is an old thread, but I’m looking for some info on what production year and model mine is. It is a 16’ and less colorful/ decorative than most I’ve seen pics of. It seems to have a slight blue/ gray tint to the fiberglass but very little other coloration than the metallic design around the gunwales. Any info would be appreciated!Click image for larger version.
