    1996 225 Johnson, $3500?

Found a '96 225 Johnson, with all controls and such, in a local shop. Needs a timer base, but everything else is intact. The guy wants $3500 for it supposedly. What ya think? Not looking to buy it, I know they had some locating pin problems, but just wondering if whoever buys it is getting ripped.

Sure did. Motor ran that way for no telling how long before I pulled compression check on it and found it. Sent it up to Mar-fab and had her sleeved, and good to go.
