Paint for cowl
What would be the best way
to refinish a 2.4 bridge port cowl.

I painted my plastic cowl with that new paint from krylon called (fusion) and it turned out real nice.... like new
18' Seebold 2.4 merc bridgeport

I have clear coated bare platic first to make paint work better.
Clear seems to have a binding agent!
Well, works on platsic bumpers! Hope this helps!

I bought some black ppg from the auto paint store and base coat/clear coat
It has worked fine for me,no cracking or peeling.

Prep work?
Did you'll do anything to the plastic to prep it? Like rough it up to get the paint to stick? Or does the new paints take care of that problem? What about removing the decals? Or did you'll paint over them? thanks

I removed all the decals and sanded it everything smooth and wet sanded with 400.turned out nice.
