Maybe a poll? This way you could get a count without counting. See if the numbers were high enough.

In theory
this sounds good but what you are talking about is becoming a dealer, ultimately someone has to sack up a big chunk of change. Otherwise you've got 30 guys all mailing dough to 1 guy who then mails it to Livorsi with a list of gauges, then when everybody receives their stuff some of it is incorrect, now what? This type of thing looks good on paper but doesn't work. That is the whole reason behind the dealer network in the first place in ALL industries. If this system would work we could eliminate all dealers in all industries. Besides if you do what you're talking about it cuts RickRacer right out of the picture, doesn't he sponsor this board? Think about it guys.

I'll explain this again
if you guys do this your in escense telling RickRacer and Trick Marine to go get F%^^$& because you are going around them. Both of these guys are sponsors of this site and ardent supporters of boating in general. This thread died a long time ago as it should have, you guys need to think long and hard before doing this to them.

The purpose of this thread (and this section, for that matter) is to offer sponsors the chance to serve the forums members with group purchases.
Group purchases in this forum can only be arranged by or for sponsors.

If you all would like, I can check into setting up a group purchase on gauges. We will need an idea of what kind of quantity of which gauges, so when we talk to them I have some information to gave them on what we want. We are always happy to setup group purchases. Our prices are generally about as low as we can afford to charge, but large quantities can often get special pricing.
