Ampitheater-thing sounds pretty cool - could never happen today though... too many Lawyers.
I just saw a pic of Arnie somewhere - looks like that crash/fire really messed him up BAD! 
Its good to see him alive though...

Arnie Beswick, gotta love Arnie I met him in Gainesville.

Seems to me that I saw someone had resurected another Don Gay Pontiac recently - the red altered wheelbase car (64 GTO?) with the cool red tinted windows. BTW - from that recent pic I saw of Arnie - he aint' going to be much "farming" anymore with those burned mitts.

Heath, You are ON it. Keep 'em coming!!! Racerx saw Beswick two weeks ago at a car show just outside Chicago. Still got the hands bundled up but was in good spirits. The altered wheelbase Tempest pictured earlier was actually buried on his farm. Wasn't much left. A diecast of his Mystery Tornado should be out any day. The Loper Anglia was the first one I ever saw that was "built." I think Loper had a Willys before that?? Another real early gasser was a 41 Studebaker out of Wisconsin. Think the guys name was Prufer? He later went to Willys. You guys run a good thread.
