I personally like spinning "in" on cats. To solve your shifter problem you will need to take the shifters apart. You will have to relocate the cable end to the other side of the arm. It will become clear when you take them apart. Each shifter is opposite now. You just need to reverse them the other way.

Interesting
Wildman made the same observation. He swapped his around and got his props turning "in" and got hardly any porpoise whereas with them turning out, the hop was a problem. I've heard that "in" is a little faster, but less forgiving in turns. Just in case that's true, take it easy in the turns and you should be flatter and faster. You don't want to find that the turning deal is true, at least not first hand.
I do know that the Skater people (Peter, Scott, etc.) all say to turn 'em OUT.
Good Luck

There is no doubt you will need to use a tad more caution when turning sharp. The rear will tend to slip. Faster and less hop are my expierences.

I owned that boat once. Takes rough water very well. It was solid white when I had it. You still enjoying it?

Still trying to get bugs out . I run it up to 82 less porposing semms to turn fine ,what did you have on this ,what kind of speeds?? what props ? give me some info. got 93 out of it last year looking for more this year. this hull seems to want 1 to 3 footers like you said rougher the better.
