Kill switch
I just did a search on bad trigger symptoms and didn't find much, however, I ran across a thread on rigging up a kill switch for electric fuel pumps. Since most of them rely on a switch that monitors pressure, isn't there some place you could tap into the water pressure? It's always there as long as the motor is running and seems like it may be the answer. Just a thought.
To fish, or not to fish?
What a stupid question!

I thought of fuel pressure- several times. And each time I remember the last thing you want to happen is your engine to kill itself at WOT.
Its actually easy to run it off the kill switch with a relay.
The boat EFIs don't have a pressure switch control of any kind. Turning the key on turns the pump on. Thats sweeping so maybe some do, but mine don't.'90 STV
