Some sad news....and some good news
First, the sad news:
UIM Formula One driver Viktor Kunitch, who was critically injuried last week in a nasty blow over that involved 4 boats - including an after-flip head-on collision that broke through his capsule and sent him into a coma -- lost his battle in the hospital and died yesterday morning of his injuries.
Read more about 38 year old Viktor of Moscow,who was extremely respected and admired by all the UIJM drivers and teams:

Now, the happy news;
PROP Formula One driver, Todd Bowden of Monrovia Calif., was married to his sweetheat of 2 years, Kristie this past weekend. His big win in San Diego must have boosted his confidence! Best wishes to you, Todd and Kristie!

he he he...
Too much info : ) (Dan that is...) Very sad indeed about Viktor, sobering reminder of how dangerous F1 competition is and playing with high performance boats in general too.

Dan ~
If you like pictures of historic outboard race boats, hold on to your helmet --- Scream and Fly will soon be unveiling something you'll really like....
