    2.4 Rebuild questions

    1. What do you use on the connecting rod bolts to hold them in? Loctite red, blue, or something else?

    2. What tricks do you use to reassemble the connection rod, main, and piston bearings? Can you use a little assembly lube to hold them in place?

    Thanks.

We've always used Red Loctite.....as far as the bearings, YES the assembly lube holds the rollers in place or Vaseline works just fine too.
