Stock is all there is
I seriosly doubt the PM coils are any different than the HP coils...if you really want to do something different you could go MSD but that's an entirely new system.

Coils
RB, my Promax came with blue coils. While I had the engine down for a rebuild, I pulled the coil covers and found all the magnets cracked. I ordered all new coils, the new ones are black. I called 3 Merc. Hi-po dealers and was told they are all the same. The new ones run just as good as the cracked ones. Maybe I didn't need to replace them?

Black ones here
Mine has the black coils I have seen on others. They seem to fire alright, maybe just replace the wires and call it good nough!

Wires
Go to Magnecor's web page. Great prices...great wires, great noise supression. Have already made wires for outboards.
