    No rot components:

I don't know how much it is, but this company builds an all aluminum and stainless trailer and the sell the individual components as well. Good luck, Jay. www.rollsaxle.com

It has been my experience you can buy anything for a trailer the cheapest from Elkhart Indiana. There are a ton of trailer places there.

    Hmmm...

    jerry got a brake problem.

jerry drum breaks are probably rusted and old.

    jerry needs disc brakes.

If jerry got a big boat and trailer with lot of jerry crap so the whole things weighs more than 3,500 lbs then jerry should buy the best disc brakes on the market...jerry should get kodiak brakes.

Kodiak brakes have a vented rotor (unlike the cheap tie downs) and come in different sizes 10", 12" etc. I believe you can buy them directly from Kodiak or from a distributor near jerry's home toon town.

    Tie Down Engineering

They make a complete kit. S/S rotors, aluminum calipers,S/S hardware. Make sure your coupler is compatibale with disc. Have installed both Tie Down and Kodiak. Tie Down wins.
Champion Trailers has a web site. They are outta Slidell,La. They sell Tie Down. I sell them for around 275.oo to do 2 wheels.

You will probably need to add a cut off switch/valve to the master cylinder to shut off the brake pressure in reverse. It is wired into the backup light circuit using a 5 wire instead of the 4 wire circuit. If you tow with another vehicle which does not have the 5 wire you will need a brake lock out to back up. Discs work just a well backwards as forwards so they need to be locked out when backing. It is sort of a pain.

Jerry, try UFP they make a disc kit. I can get you a number when I'm back in the office tomorrow if you're interested. They're vented as well and standard equipment on Shoreland'r, Eagle and Prestige trailers. I've never had a problem with them.

Oh, and Jim is right about the brake cut out...you'll need one.
