2001 Lighting
Last week I picked up my tow rig , a white 2001 Lighting. This ride redifines the description of pickup. I don't know which is quicker the truck or my xr2002. See y'all at the Connecticut River run saturday at 8am.

GOOOOD Truck
I special ordered a Red 2001 Lightning in Nov. of 2000. A white one came in with it and I bought the white one. I towed my STV to races all over the Southeast for 6 months - what a great tow rig. Watch out for the tires - very soft. I cut 4 tires in 6 months just on gravel.
A STOCK Lightning will DEVESTATE the RT - no BS. The 4.7L is faster 0-60. My lightning did 13.36 ET in the 1/4 mile - I cut a second from that with modifications.
I traded the truck in on a 2002 F250 SD and have missed it ever since. I needed more room and paid the price.Disclaimer: Everything I post is just my .02, and should be take only as opinion. These opinions tend to be notoriously WRONG, and any that are correct, can only be attributed to my being dropped on my head as a small child - repeatedly.
