Insurance
A 'newbie' is back again. Does anyone have a good place to buy insurance ??? I am 54 and recently purchased a 1987 23 ft Eliminator Daytona that I want to cruise in. No racing of any sort. I live in Michigan.

this is always a big question here! i always read where ppl will get insurance for tunnels only to get cancelled later on.
just makesure you read any fine print with any policy and always get ready for sticker shock.
most here always say to go with your auto insurer
hell progressive wants $875 for my 18footer
also try boat us.

My A boat is insured with SkiSafe as an "Allison Ski Racer" [Grandsport]. The policy is a replacement Value policy with a layup from November-April. It's just over 500 per year [about the same as my Jet ski].
