ever heard of Popeye racing team?

Talked to a girl today at the gas station and she was talking about how she just bought a boat. She says "have you ever heard of Popeyes racing team?" I told her no. She says "Well I bought their old racing boat, it's 5 years old" I asked her how big it was She told me it was 52 feet long !!! I asked her what type it was she said it was a Cat. Anyway, anybody ever hear of such?
I think I will see her again tomorrow, she works there, I will tell her I want pics AND a ride .
I told her I guess I should get a job at the gas station to make that kind of money. She says, " The money didn't come from here, my brother and I drag race Top fuel and Blown alcohol and make the money that way" My jaw was on the ground. If I wasn't happily married, I would definately hook up w/ this chick.
Boy do I feel like I am playing with a rowboat now.

    Popeye's

is the restaurant chain started by Al Copeland. If this chick's makung that kind of $ racing or working at a gas station I'll be thoroughly amazed. Tell her you want to SEE the boat in person! Something's fishy about this story. A 52' boat costs a LOT of money.

    Making Money Racing

You SPEND money racing those classes you dont make it. The only way you can come out ahead is if someone else is paying the bills. (Big Sponsor)

I don't know her whole story, but when I asked her if she was loaded or something, she just said she fell down the right path at the right time. I do know for a fact that she owns a 2002 Chevy diesel 4 door dually loaded, a 200 Chevy gas 4 door dually and a nice car, however I want proof of the rest of these stories. I should have looked in her bed (truck bed) for a fifth wheel hitch.
When I mentioned I had a jet boat she said "Oh, one of those fast little boats" Boy did I feel small.

    The Popeye Boat

was running offshore about 10 years ago I think.

I do know one thing for sure. I do like her class in vehicals. But what the heck is she doing at a gas station??? Unless she owns the chain and just checking out her place

Guess I'll just ask her. I would have already, by but it was hard to with my jaw on the floor.

Here is a recent or 2001 article with a pic in it of a Popeye's boat

I wasn't meaning that she towed the boat, I was referring to the cars they race. She says they have a 2 level trailer that they haul them on.
