ever heard of Popeye racing team?
Talked to a girl today at the gas station and she was talking about how she just bought a boat. She says "have you ever heard of Popeyes racing team?" I told her no. She says "Well I bought their old racing boat, it's 5 years old" I asked her how big it was She told me it was 52 feet long !!! I asked her what type it was she said it was a Cat. Anyway, anybody ever hear of such?
I think I will see her again tomorrow, she works there, I will tell her I want pics AND a ride .
I told her I guess I should get a job at the gas station to make that kind of money. She says, " The money didn't come from here, my brother and I drag race Top fuel and Blown alcohol and make the money that way" My jaw was on the ground. If I wasn't happily married, I would definately hook up w/ this chick.
Boy do I feel like I am playing with a rowboat now.1978 18' Checkmate Jetmate II

Popeye's
is the restaurant chain started by Al Copeland. If this chick's makung that kind of $ racing or working at a gas station I'll be thoroughly amazed. Tell her you want to SEE the boat in person! Something's fishy about this story. A 52' boat costs a LOT of money.

I don't know her whole story, but when I asked her if she was loaded or something, she just said she fell down the right path at the right time. I do know for a fact that she owns a 2002 Chevy diesel 4 door dually loaded, a 200 Chevy gas 4 door dually and a nice car, however I want proof of the rest of these stories. I should have looked in her bed (truck bed) for a fifth wheel hitch.
When I mentioned I had a jet boat she said "Oh, one of those fast little boats" Boy did I feel small.1978 18' Checkmate Jetmate II

The Popeye Boat
was running offshore about 10 years ago I think.
I do know one thing for sure. I do like her class in vehicals. But what the heck is she doing at a gas station??? Unless she owns the chain and just checking out her place
