I have a KMB outboard on order to test. If it ever comes in we will check it out. We may start reselling them in the future.

yeah man, use some r/c grade 1/8 plywood to make your boat, use epoxy for the glue and fill all the voids with microbaloons. seal it up with a sealer, prime and paint. it works good. i wouldnt use balsa, too soft, even if you coated it.

Looky what came in the mail today.
Did a little horse trading for the Zen I had for sale here and this is what I got.
New hull 35" long (don't know the name but its built good)
NIB 7.5 K&B w/mounts
NIB 3 chan HiTec radio w/everything
Prop
Running gear
Radio box
Shafts
even the fuel tank.
The engine looks like the airplane version converted for marine use. Doesn't matter, because it's not going to stay here long. All I wanted was the radio & sell the rest. Might be a fun project to build during the winter and get rid of next spring.
Either way, wanted to share.
One more, once you try gas, you'll see why I'm not keeping it. LOL

Mr. Moderator, can we get this thread moved to "other motorsports" ? That would be a better place than having it here.
(besides, I've got some catching up to do)
thanks.

Been a while but here are my new projects for the winter.
Had this one special made & took delivery not long ago. Just waiting on the engine to complete.
100% Carbon
41" x 14 1/2"
With stock 260, its in the high 50's.
Was there for the birth of it so to speak.

While at it, the builder gave me a sweet deal on one of his California Drag hulls.
This one is solid glass, no wood. Europeans don't like to run wood rails. Instead, they'll install aluminum. Makes for a much cleaner setup. If I keep this one, it'll be getting them also.
With a 230, she's a screamer.

This is now the current stable. The super g' is in primer here. As of now, its got a jacked up rattle can paint job. Can build the hell out these things but can't paint worth a damn. Better to get white gel & put stickers. That way if you bust one up, its not so hard on the ego.
