    Cajun Bullet Hydro

This is a Quickdraw 25 cc powered outrigger hydro that I will be racing for the first time in Orlando . Its a nice running boat but after a Twin nitro rigger these gas boats seem slow !. Good competition though , and the fuel is not 30.00 a gallon either . Boat uses only 10 oz of gas per heat , 6 laps instead of 32 oz of 60 % nitro for the twin nitro Roadrunner Rigger . I still love my Nitro !

I'm a big fan of twins. My only question is why didn't you counter rotate the engines?

    Counter rotation

These engines are not available in counter rotation fashion . The intake rotor would have to be manufactured in a different way to allow the engine to run right hand rotation . Also propellers are not available in right hand for the types of props we run . The idea of a gearbox would kill the power of these high revving Mac .84 motors .

i'm not very familiar with inboard r/c motors, but my k&b o/b's are 'backwards' from airplane type motors. i have to hook my starter up backwards for them. maybe there are different pto (rear) housings or flywheels are available. i seem to remember that you can adapt an inboard to run on o/b l/u's. not sure, but maybe you could make a counter rotating set up that way. not mac's, but others , possibly. i do know i have seen both right and left hand props on some manufacture's sites. never paid any mind to them, since it didn't apply to my boats. i'm sure tom is right about them for his boat, but could be workable on other ones. small nitro tunnels are a blast to drive. very touchy about proper set up. will blow over without much trouble, but not a lot different than a hot full size boat in that respect. a lot cheaper and need less room to run than 4 or 5' long zenoah powered boats. biggest issue in my area is noise, i usually end up on farm ponds away from up tight yuppies and their delicate sensabilities. screw 'em, suits me to not be around them, anyway.
