Jims R/C Boat Dock is a good place to search.

A thought....
Would there be enough interest in adding an additional forum here? Gas/Nitro? Or just keep it with the R/C forum? Wouldn't be any fun if there wasn't enough people contributing.

polaris,
Depending on which AM boat. You can buy the G' used & RTR for around $450. Thats what I picked the second one up for with the aircooled Zen 230. Box stock they're a 40 mph boat. I've dropped a 260 in to serve a break-in mule. It didn't seem to like it much. Worked on the setup & it got mid 40's and wanted to blow over. Tabs were bottomed out so it was defeating the purpose. But for the money, its hard to beat the Enforcer Super G' with that engine.
Just picked up an AM Stingray 43" that'll be getting a stock 230 over the winter.
If you're interested in the G' because I've been debating on selling mine. Its been banged up & repaired, had a few holes drilled here & there. Just got a rattle can paint job over the weekend & proves my painting skills are a joke. Drop a radio in & you're on your way. Right price of course. Any questions email me through S&F.

Orlando Winternats RC Boat Races .
Hey Rich , I will be speaking with Ron Byrd tonite and will get the lowdown . I will be racing 40 Hydro , X Hydro , GX 1 Sport Hydro Gas , and X Mono (Vee Hull ) . This is a great forum to get some interest going on boat racing here in Fl. and else where as well , but there is so much racing going on in Fl. year round . It is a great time even if you dont win every heat , there are a lot of Scream and Fly members that obviously have some nice stuff and once introduced to racing will be on it like an ice cold Beer on a hot day !!! (not at the races during racing though !) . Even the big races are laid back so you can have time to wander around and check out the different equipment . Still plenty of time to get ready for the races and I will post dates for all the races I cand find . Rich , post some pics of your stuff , I will try tonight .See Ya .

Last one , I have about a five minute video , though not professional , it accurately relates the speed of these types of boats , but I need some help to get it posted . Thanks Tom .
