ProMax mid on 245 Carb motor
Would putting a ProMax mid section or tower on my 245 Carb hurt performance by a lot? I'm currently running the stock perf mid with the 10 holes, a G-force tuner, relief in the gearcase and velocity stacks. The motor is louder than most perf motors.
Looking to quiet it down a little if it won't hurt performance.
Will I notice much from putting an airbox on it version the velocity stacks? Right now it sounds like the reeds are flapping right in your friggen ear!
Thanks

Mid Section
You probably wont notice anything except at idle if anything. I have noticed that the relief holes at the bottom of the mid seem to help the idle. If you do decide to drill the new mid section go to harbor freight and you can buy the 3 pack of super long bits for drilling the mids. they call them wood bits but they work fine for aluminum.
