    Inland Tiger Sharks

What would you like to know. I know these boats well. I grew up boating on the Yahara River where Inland boats is located and worked for another Merc dealer down the road in the 60's and 70's. They are still in business but have a new owner. Some of the family still works there.
I'd like to have a Shark today. They were a popoff of a Calif flatbottom but in the Midwest during the 60's they were the hot setup.

    I've got one!!

That is a TigerShark but I've never seen one with a windshield or that cockpit cover. They were rated at 220 hp so they could run 2 Merc110's. Tommy Bartlets used them in the ski shows on Lake Delton. They were very popular in the Baraboo Wis Dells Madison area in the late 60's early 70's. I have had mine for 24 years. They are one of the best cornering boats around. Anything you would like to know just ask.

I remember it! If you hunt around Madison I'm sure you could find out what happened to this rig.

I hung out at Inland as a kid and remember this boat. It might be Donnys Wahlers boat from the Pussycat lounge. You might try to reach Rick Coats at Inland. The address is still the same as the ad. I was there last week. They are going through a remodel now with new owners.

I can remember this exact boat pulling up to a stop sign on a trailer and seeing it go down the river. It was so cool. I think there was another one made similar to this. I helped lay up some of these and I remember that deckmold in the shop. They also made these in a V-Drive configuration in Small and Big BLock.

One of the guys that worked there had one with a 450hp BB. I can remember sitting in the front seat watching those old airguide guages. After 90MPH I stopped looking.

Try calling Rick he might be able to help you with the history. I know some other guys in this area read and post on this site and may be able to give more info.

    Those were the days!

Just bought a 1973 inland turbo shark With a 402 inboard. Was wondering if anyone has a layout on how the boat should look or where to find one, because I got a bunch of boxes full of parts. Thanks

A guy recently posted on a Facebook vintage boat site that he had the only one left and it was being put up for sale last week. I think he is from oshkosh but the boat in his picture was complete
would love to see yours. I have been an inland tiger/turbo fan since they were new!
