Old Charger Boat pics
Hey Speedyfast.
Here's a few of those old Charger brochure pics.
The boats were built in Toronto(Richmond Hills) till the early 90's.
They built several of Roark's designs under license and were also building the Challenger in the late 80's.
Here's another shot of the 20 TV.52 Maritimo 2007 w C-12 CAT's

Old Charger Pics
Here's a brochure pic of the 18 STV by Charger.
Built under license.
I had one of these. Very nice boat.
Turned almost as well as my Seebold.
Only problem - the transom was cored with balsa.
Had to tighten the mounting bolts every time out.
Balso got badly compressed in one season.
Got a new boat on warranty. Had to drive to Toronto to get it.52 Maritimo 2007 w C-12 CAT's

20 ft STV
Here's the 20ft STV by Charger.
Available as IO or OB.
Probably coulda used a 300X.
Not a lot of them around and the outboard cockpit was way too small. They coulda moved the seats way back, and made room for a cooler.
I think they didn't change the mold too much from the IO.52 Maritimo 2007 w C-12 CAT's

I'd Kill
For good pics of the bottoms and interiors of the 20 footers. They'll run...just need some HP.

You don't have to kill David, next time I am at John Spaths shop I can snap some.
The 20' was built buy summerford, and then quickly sold to charger. I have only ever seen 1 build south of the boarder. There was also a Vee bottom with the same deck. There was also a race deck for that vee ( someone on hear has one bult by summerford) , the race deck would also fit the mod-vp bottom, but I doubt that one was ever bult.
Oddly, the last vee mold and race deck came to canada in 1999 with the pro comp ski deck mold and the drag bottom, incidently the race deck for the vee bottom has the same cockpit as the procompski.
David I am 90% sure it is a different bottom than your boat.

Thanks Kavalk
I love checkin out the old brochures, i dont know if its the sweet boats or the neon bikinis and tight-ass pastel coloured polo shirts all the models where!
Anthony, thats a sweet hull. Also a reverse gel example! How much and who owns it? Asking more out of enthusiasm than interest of purchase ( ive got to get out of damn school so i can afford some toys!!!) and right now all my cash ( which is virtually non is going into my project mazda rx7 convertible i picked up this summer.
I guess ill post a link of Blairs ride to go along with the them pf this post.
Take it easy fellas, hope the winter treats you well!

Hey Speedyfast.
I'll post the complete Charger brochure here one page at a time.
Six pages total including the warranty statement and race result page.
You've already seen a couple of these before, but here it is complete.
I think it's 1987 or so.
