I rolled up all my pennies this weekend and...

...had enough to buy this. Soooo I dragged Skip and my son Adam out to Houston with me to meet Greg Moss and buy his Mirage from him. Greg's a hell of a nice guy. If you get the opportunity to shoot the bull with him, do it. Thanks again Greg, I can't wait to get it on the water!!

Thanks also to my co-pilots for helping with the drive and putting up with my snoring and other bodily noises and after-effects

Things I learned from this weekend's adventure.

    1. There is a such thing as "Best Case Scenario" and you should plan for it as well.

    2. I'm not as young as I used to be, and while I'm a bit smaller than I used to be, I still don't cram into small places well.

    3. The I-10 corridor across Lousiana sucks. I've run on smoother dirt roads. I think they collect all the potholes from across the state and distribute them along I-10. Either the ground is sinking at an incredible rate, or them Lou Zanner construction workers have never heard the term "fit flush" I need a kidney transplant and two fillings replaced compliments of the LA DOT.

    4. Never leave Skip alone with a digital camera.

    Thumbs up looking good!!

I like the color. Normally you see alot of white & red or white & blue, the gray really sets it off!!

    Congrats!

Great looking rig pounder. Yep I-10 sucks. I used to have to run that road alot. How about some interior shots, and some a bit closer. You can almost feel the need for speed.

Thanks guys! I'll get some more pictures as I go along with the rigging.

Sammy, you'll see her up close and in person in the spring if everything goes as planned.

I guess I can't come down and play, can't keep up
    Skip- nope
    H20nut- Not going to try

Bmac- would have been close if he still had the aircraftcarrier

Shorepounder- would of had a shot at the tower of power. v6 and a tunnel. Nope, no way

Action17 can't touch him even with my black motor.

Looking forward to seeing the boat in action.

Like hell you can't come down and play!!! Hell if nothing else we still need a good chase boat and since you left, everyone just stares at the grill and talks about the good ol' days when Gus was around

    Hope to see you soon.
