    Merc intake bleed lines

I've been going nuts trying to find the small gas hose used on the Merc 2.5 intake, for the bleed lines. Seems nobody nere carries anything remotely small enough, and still hold up to gas.

The light bulb finally came on,,,, damn gray hairs/slow switch....

The local hobby shop that carries all the gas powered cars/trucks/planes/boats and such has rolls and rolls of colored Tygon tubing, wild ass colors too if needed, neons and such.
    about a buck a foot.

Always make sure to check yer hoses when yer running yer motor on the hose, you might be surprised where you will find a leak....

gald the info already helped somebody

I was at wits end trying to find that stuff out here in new mexico, no Hi-Po Merc dealers here. I've spent a week looking at all the wrong places.

I have a little RC type hobby shop right by the house and never gave it a second thought, till after the 6th or 8th Corona the other night, dinking around in the garage with the boat......lol .

Lemme know If ya need some, I can pick it up fairly easy if needed.

    None at my NAPA here

    Dude,
I tried NAPA, Autozone, Checkers, Home Depot, Home BAse, True Value Hardwares, you name it,,,,, No luck !!

I did see at NAPA they carried a rubber windshield hose the same size I needed, but the rubber will begin to break down and introduce particles in yer fuel stream,,,,, be careful it will crack easy too once the gas hits it...

The Hobby Shop had Tygon Tubing, it's gas/fuel rated.

    Bleed line

I use 1/8 inch Tygon gas line . it is a clear green color and it dresses the motor up. You can purchase it at any john deer tractor sales and service or at most lawn mower repar shops.

P.s dont forget to tie strap them all on

So the unused oil doesn't build up in your motor while you are running. its recirculation lines to reuse the oil.

2 stroke outboards tend to puddle alot of fuel/oil at low speed. The recirc lines carry the unburned mix back into the engine at the transfer port area.
The lines have a one way check valve in them to keep thing moving from the front of the engine to the back. In the old days (before EPA) alot of this excess fuel/oil mix just got dumped out into the water through drain lines in the block...not cool.
