How to build a cheap boat
Heres a little project from a couple years ago that some might find fun. We were on a country drive and I saw a boat on the ground in a guys backyard. It had little oak trees growing out of it, but it looked pretty cool. I stopped and asked about it and the guy said he was getting ready to haul it to the dump, if I wanted it I could have it and save him the trouble. The transom was broke real bad and there was no trailer, motor or controls.
All the Cobrajets I've ever seen were jet boats so I thought this one was neat. It hardly weighed anything at 16' long.
Step 1. Hauled it homeand cleaned it up real good:

Step 4. Had to buy this whole pig just to get the 100 hp Merc and controls. $250 total. I offered him 300 if he would keep the hull but no luck! I gave the hull away.
