    airbrush paint

    posting for a friend that asked me this question today.... What type of paint would you use to airbrush graphics on to gel or paint ? thanx, Nat

    An airbrush is a smaller gun for the most part. It will spray any paint you normaly would spray, also inks too.
    The eyes in the picture were done with the same red and gold Kandies as the rest of the boat.
    You could do kandies, pearls or solid colors. Probably can spray flake too.
    Depends on your graphics. Just good quality paint.
    I did try out a color changing paint bought at an art store in the airbrush section. Normal Chromalusion goes for $20 per ounce.
    This stuff-water based, was around $8 for 6 oz. Used it on a transparency to check my paint scheme. Stuck to the plastic but wasn't weather tested at all.
