Mounting For Second, Small Battery??

Mounting/wiring 2nd battery (motorcylce size) for 24v trim. What are you guys using for mounting??
I am mounting to the top of open stringers and don't want to get too crazy here.
Have about a 10" span between tops of stringers and battery is only about 3 1/2" X 6".
Looking at either 2 pcs of alum. angle or pc of plywood both acting as a tray.
Any "unique" ideas that I have'nt thought of??

You could just mount it to the side of the stringer if you can find a tray of somesort or make one.Here is a picture of mine its a s/s steel tray i made for a lawn/garden battery with a stap to hold it in.I could bend you one up when i get some time but you probably are wanting it now for the fl trip.Dave

PERFECT!!
Never even thought of munting it down/between stringers??
Futs almost perfect turned side ways and strapped to a cross brace between the two center stringers.
Just need one pc of alum to make a tray like yours and I'm done!
Made/glassed in a mount for the main battery up under the deck so I can lose my lead and help balance the boat.
