    Question Engine Hoist

Anyone know where a fair price is on a quality engine hoist/cherry picker? Murrys, TSC, Sams, Sears...etc???

    If one's near...

Harbor Freight. I bought the folding one on sale for $149.00, it's usually $239.00.

I bought a fold up one at Advance Auto a year or so ago that I like better than some of the other el cheapos that are sold. Haven't seen the one I've got again lately.

Sams has some neat stuff sometimes, but it's ever changing and the ones that are real good one month might be replaced by lesser ones the next. Seems like in automotive stuff there aren't many re-peats.

I guess the key word in your question was "quality". I'm not sure I'd buy any of the el cheapos for daily commercial use. I just use the cheapies in my home shop.

    Thanks guys

I ended up picking one up (AC Delco brand) at Murrys Auto Parts here in Lansing MI. Just Happened to be on sale for $199 and a free bottle of car wash went with it.
