    24 Skater Setup

FNG here hoping that I can get some input on setting up my new boat. Boat has twin 2.5 280hp with 14.75x40 Dewald's, drives are 1.5 inches above the bottom of the boat.

Going to verify drive height, RPMS, and what else info do I need?Click image for larger version.

40 pitch props? Are you sure about that?
The ones I remember back in the day ran 28 and 30 pitch Mercury 3 blade Cleavers.

You are on track with the propellers, it should spin 32s when its light. I like to run the motors spaced out a little further 56" on center. Set up perfectly it will run 115 to 120. Run your motors as high as possible without getting into water pressure issues. If you want the all out of it, remote water pick-ups and hydraulic jackplates will get you sorted out in fast order. Did you get all of the spare parts with it?
