1997 Mirage (Jaguar) Ski Racer with Drag motor

18 ft, Brad Collins built Ski Racer.

I purchased this boat from a forum member back in 2008. It originally came with a Mercury 200. I replaced it with an Eagle One Performance Drag motor.
    It is a 2007 2.5 dyno tuned to 317.77 crank horsepower @ 8500 RPM.

I was just able to get some hours into the motor for the break in period before finally being able to pull some full throttle runs. The boat was a blast to rip up and down the river when I was a lot younger. I was able to hit just under 120 mph on the GPS before lifting off the throttle.

A tree branch broke off and hit the side of the boat while I had it temporarily parked near a tree. The damage was relatively minor but I took the boat to a boat repair shop that repaired the fiberglass and repainted the hull above the rub rail. After the repairs I was able to take the boat out a few more times to enjoy it before putting it away for the winter. During the offseason, a buddy started to help swap out some wiring and replace some switches and gauges that needed addressed. We never finished with that before life caught up.

That was about 10 years ago. I have since moved, settled down and started a family and just don't have time for the boat anymore. We live near a lake and can't have anything bigger that an electric trolling motor in it. My wife and kids prefer a canoe or kayak anyway.

So, sadly another toy needs to be sold off. I figured since this forum is where I originally found the boat so I would try selling it on here before the other usual channels. Hopefully another enthusiast can pick it up and enjoy it. It will come with the trailer and 3 different props. The boat has been sitting inside my pole barn for the last 8+ years.

The boat will still need the wiring addressed. It looks like a rats nest of wiring and will need to be cleaned up and the gauges plugged back in and tested. Because this isn't 100% Turn Key I'm asking $17,900.

I can try to answer any questions and send additional photos if needed. Shipping arrangements can be provided at buyers cost if required.
    Thank you.

I want to say it's a BOB's lower. I honestly can't remember anything else. I can try to look through some old paperwork to figure it out. Here are some better photos is case you can figure it out from these.

I would prefer to keep everything together if possible. It would be more difficult selling off the pieces versus one sale for everything.

Yes, a good bit of interest but no buyer as of yet.
