Pipkorn & the Allison's - talk about legends ! Glad to say I've owned both and still love them.

He left a big mark for sure. Glad to see the family carry on the legends work and ideas. We only seem to get one of these guys "that set new bars like he did" every couple decades and when they are gone the products left behind continue to tell their story one race at a time. R.I.P. until we see each other again.

One of the first races my dad took me to when I was a kid, Allison vees won all of the stock classes and an Allison tunnel won the unlimited race. This was around 1970. Great memories.

So many cool stories about Mr. Allison. That generation made a lot of great stuff happen with a whole lot of nothing. God, please gift us another generation like that as soon as possible. RR
