Any hats out there that don’t fly off?

I don’t have a ton of hair and I don’t like getting sunburned so I keep a baseball cap on board along with a full brim Bamboo kinda hat. I had a nice Marlboro one but it but the dust. Anyways as you all know, you have to put these on and off pending speed and today I got to thinking maybe there are some hats available that look like a normal ball cap that don’t fly off or have some fancy strap mechanism or something. Figured if anyone knew of such it would be you guys

Anything with a brim is going to blow off unless you are behind a windshield. Maybe a Doo rag or a skull cap. But yikes, they are not for me. LOL.

Open up the sweat band on your hat before you put it on. Stays on much better.

There are some pretty cool welding beanies that have a small bill and go further down the back of your head/neck than a standard ball cap. They can be flipped around backwards if needed.

Ya , But Tom Foley owns it ! Hook a Floaty key chain to you hat , At least that way you can go back for it ! Other wise try a welders cap and wear it backwards with the brim folded up !

What works for me is a UV protective surfing shirt with a hoodie. Thin, not hot, and dries quickly when it gets wet. The hoodie stays on and in the event it does come off your head it can just be pulled back up. Any fishing/surf outlet has them.

I wear a doo-rag for speed running. If you don't like them pull it off and go to a ball cap at the sandbar.

Not many head coverings are fool proof at 90+. But, doo-rags will usually stay with you.

Not that I am aware of. I thought I would buy one of these to get a laugh from my river friends when making a pass in the Alli. RR

Like you said, usually. I lost one of my favorite Harley Tom's at just over 90 so tie her down good. RR
