Help with fastest prop style for 95 Eliminator Daytona

So far, I have ben to 107 mph with a 15x32 Performance propellor drag4. It has a 300x with 14 inches of setback. I have thought about getting a 34-pitch built for it. I am Shure someone knows a whole lot more about what blade profile would be the best for top speed than I do. I would like to hit 110 that seems like a nice round number. Thanks for your input.

14.5x34 or 15x34 Lab reference Cleaver three blade unfortunately they don’t make them anymore. That’s the prop you need

I would love to see how a Mercury CNC prop would run on a boat like that... not sure what shaft size options they offer.

Four blade overhub DeWald is what I would try. They get on plane well with a light weight hull and work in conjunction with 300X torque capabilities. We have run them for years on our STVs. The 5 blade cnc is an incredible wheel but takes a torque monster to turn it in comparison. The four blade also provides a better slip factor and is easier on the gearcase Vs. a 3 blade.

I would turn the 32 into a 33.5 or so... The CNC 5 blade you won't be able to turn along with it being 5 blades. If you wanted to try a new prop i would try the signature 4 blade 15 degree rake cleaver in 15". Have myself or someone work it and they go all the way up to 36 pitch.

I talked to DeWald He said he would get back with me if he had something to try but cnc props are not cheap. It seems like that they mostly work on bigger boats. There is only one place by me with enough room to let it rip long enough to get the top rpm it is kind of dumb to waste all that money chasing 3 mph. I like the way the drag4 runs on this boat and know I am doing pretty good now from what I have read here. But it would be nice to have 110mph bragging rights, it might do it now on a 50-degree day.

Do those Signature props run without being worked? And what about that Bullet cut performer from Hill?

I would say no on the bullet cut from Hill.... The signature cleavers work "ok" without being worked.. I would suggest running it first and seeing where your at then send it out... Normally from stock to worked people gain about 3-5mph sometimes a touch more.

So, really this is all bull****? You ask about a faster prop and then say going faster isn't worthwhile?

What about an ET? That was the prop of choice in a Hotboat article about the 21 Cougar a long time ago. Similar boat.

A 4 blade Signature cleaver that Hill labbed is the fastest prop I've tried on a ltv. I also run a Signature eagle 4 blade on a Bullet, it runs faster than most props, but the blades are a bit heavy. I've found a mazco re3 to be faster on that boat, but the blades are scary thin.

My favorite prop was a Hoss Hyperdrive 15x30, not the fastest though, but after throwing a blade on two of them I went in a different direction. I tried a friends RE3 on my Vector once and didn't care for it, it didn't seem to fly the boat. But he had a rapid craft. I thought ETs were blade throwers too. I always thought cleavers were stern lifters and never had the opportunity to try one. I guess I will poke around for a used one. Or maybe I will get a labbed new one too, I have been told I can't take it with me.
It seems like Randy Corson, Wild Man favored drag 4's for some reason. I think I will be making some calls this week.

This guy has an "index" for HotBoat... you might be able to figure out which issue: https://issuu.com/brettbayne/docs/hb-index

Hard to read, but the info is there:
