Best place to purchase a new Merc outboard?

Hi All. I haven't been on the site for years but recently bought my old CP outboard boat back. It's going to need a complete overhaul and we're ditching the last owners 175 Evinrude. I had a 225 Optimax on it before and it ran flawlessly and I loved the power so I'm thinking about going the same route. Where is the best place (lowest cost) to purchase a new Merc outboard on the West coast these days?

Went to 4 shops recently, got 4 different prices as they all said the same thing, mercury has everyone sell them for same price.
