Mexico is sending 10K troops to the border. He may have a better understanding than the Left thinks. Tariffs suspended for Mexico for a month. I bet Trudeau is paying attention

The American people suffered thru the Brandon years. So, all you libbies will have to suck it up and just live thru the TRUMP era. The sky's not falling and we have to turn the massive failure we endured around. You Canadians just keep on bitching about the US. If you WERE to cut us off (and you won't) your industries will suffer badly without our dollars to support YOUR economy. Hahahahaha Remember. it goes both ways. Bring it, we now have a leader! Your govt's. threats mean nothing!

A tariff is paid by you if you are the one sending something here. That means you get less money for your products and efforts. If your knee jerk reaction is to charge more for your products then you pay even more in tariff. It only makes me pay more when the distributor to me raises the price. When another country does billions in business with us that number becomes staggering, enough to make your government change its destructive and unfair policies. Can you imagine what 10% is on every one of those mega cargo ships full of crap from China that goes to Wal-mart and Target? When the cheap stuff from China is no longer cheap we will buy American. And no, I do not have any sympathy for an American businessman who has taken his manufacturing operation to China. They are part of the problem.
As far as the SAF initiative, I have no problem with curbing jet emissions since it is probably doing the biggest harm to the environment. Two stroke outboards do not even move the needle.
Besides all of this, you liberals are acting like we had no right to re-elect Trump. I have the right to do whatever I want. I understand what is good for this nation long term. The fact is, today's Democrat party, if left in power would keep us on the road to ruin.1970 15' Allison/135 Chrysler stacker

WOW WOW WOW.
Tarrifs are paid for by the consumer. Not the seller, it is NOT paid by the nation selling it.
If you bought a gallon of maple
syr from Canada. For example we sold for 100 dollars. The importer pays the 25% to the US government. Your bill is now 125 dollars and the seller of the maple syrup still gets exactly the same as before.
Like I said, tariffs are a consumption tax paid for by the consumer. In this case you2023 TUFF 25

the pipelines are correct, you do in fact need our oil. WHICH we sell at a discount to the open market to you to refine. This creates A LOT of jobs in the United States. 62% of the oil comes through those pipelines. We have had other nations BEG us for that oil and natural gas and the idiot in charge won’t do it. Believe you me that the next government will quench that thirst. Currently Russia and other deplorable nations are benefiting.
Again, you picked a fight with your best friend2023 TUFF 25

If your excellent Canadian maple syrup is too expensive, (and it already is) we will just buy it from Vermont, NY, Maine, and Wisconsin as it will be less expensive. Being flexible is an American trait that has saved us many times. Don't confuse the American people with our prev. whacko regime. Totally different bunch now.

My engine mechanist lives in northern Michigan. He also has a Maple syrup business and sells all over the country to the point he makes so much that he has a hard time moving it. Pretty sure we wont have a problem with the rest of what we need from you. Your one arrogant Canuck.

Canada blinks, President Trump delays tariffs on northern neighbor for at least 30 days
Trump and Trudeau spoke via phone Monday, hours before additional 25% tariffs were to take effect on Canadian goods coming into the United States. In a post on X, Trudeau said Canada will implement a $1.3 billion border plan and will appoint a fentanyl czar.
In addition, Canada will reinforce its border with new helicopters, technology, personnel and enhanced coordination with American authorities. He added that nearly 10,000 personnel are and will be working on border protection.

CONTROL your boarder and it all goes away. You just made you yourself look like a fool with those comments (your leader is no different then the one we just got rid of). Your whole country has a lower GDP then one of our strong states. Big problems require big changes for correction and Trump campaigned on what he is doing. Just think if you guys become #51, Tom and his crew will come to your sanctuaries and straighten that mess out for you as well.
Read post #27 above. Its a really simple concept "Trump don't play, you conform or you pay".
