2.4 BP EFI Front on 2.5 Promax 225 block

Going to put a modified 2.4 BP front on my 2.5 PM 225, Anyone have any specific notes/advice to doing this? The front was done by Jeff Dunn and he has done 50 of these with no issues. I was just wondering if anyone has found any must do's when doing this? I know to trim the cork gasket at the to to fit around the top case bolts, but other than that it seems straight forward to me. Any other small mods for the horn or throttle linkage? Or the specific fuel rail to use or will a BP/260/280 fuel rail work?

    thanks

Rail will work. Only thing I ran into with that is where the barb fittings go into the block it gets real thin since he moves the main bolts outwards...so that fitting has almost no bite in the front half. I epoxy them in; its not pretty but it makes them stay. Primarily the top one that is behind the little bracket that holds the flywheel cover.

No, maybe its the center mains. I can't remember. Its not the top main or the lower main. I think it was the center mains but it looks like someone has already modified yours to a NPT fitting rather than the press in barb. That is where the issue was, the press-in had very little bite into the block with some main (3/8" dia.) bolts. Make sure the center main bolts line up with the block without hitting those npt bleeders...
