    There are thousands of stock outboarders who would laugh at this OPC situation in 1970. Cable steering had been around maybe 50 years. Ride Guide was good for the average boater and the concept still exists today. Hydraulic and power steering set ups have been tried but they stiil lack "feel". Billy Seebold played wth a hydraulic system but it lacked "feel". I noticed that current F1 Champ Andersson still uses cable.

    You have to get to where driving the boat is automatic so you can focus on racing the boat.
