I have a 1978 17 ft witchcraft I have restored and looking for some set up info
Was wondering if any one has any info on a good prop to run for this hull and set back . I have a 240 merc efi I’m putting on.

think a good A40 trophy (if ya can find one) would be a good start till ya learn how ta handle it.. probably gonna be a hand full with tha "rocker" bottom...... jmo

You appear to be good with fiberglass work. And have the shop and equipment to do it in. You should think about flipping it over and adding a pad to the hull. Otherwise, you are going to have a real problem with chine walk. It will be the biggest improvement in handling, no matter what set up you use.
