    2016 Allison Grandsport

Pains me to do it, but contemplating selling my Grandsport. 2016, almost new condition. Probably less than 50hrs on the hull. Probably less than 10 on the 2023 Yamaha 250. Trailer is almost new. Serious inquiries, feel free to contact me. I have a lot more pictures. Something else has come up and I know someone could get more use out of her. $65K

Beautiful hull, that's a big 4 stroke on the back, too big?

The Yamaha is definitely big, but the boat runs well with it. I haven’t pushed it to its limits, haven’t had time to really dial it in yet, but it had a good attitude with both a BBlades 30” blaster and 30” Bravo. Could probably run a 32”.

Fastest I’ve had it this far was about 70. On a 35mph lake with fishermen pulling out in front. Gets there real quick tho!

The back end doesn’t look too low in the pictures. More people are putting big heavy motors on their 20’ Allison’s now, and somewhere Mr Allison is not approving.

My semi educated theory is that the heavy motors can work but be careful. A hook is more likely with the non ratcheting gearcase and a hook is more likely to end badly with the excess weight.

I have my SS2000, but this GS looks great. I would prop it to run 90 and get there fast.

Propping for acceleration was my idea as well. The torque on these new OBs is impressive. It popped out of the hole so quick and easy with a 30 bravo, I bet it could use more pitch and still take off like a jet ski.
