What is this prop - need the correct hub Quicksilver
I have a 4-blade Quicksilver 25P with P/N 48-825912 A41 It is engraved Trophy (not Trophy Pro). I would like to know what hub kit this prop takes. This is going on a "stock" XR6. I found only one reference for the (A41) Trophy, and it referred to it as "Large Tube Trophy". Thanks & Regards, Roger Hinsdale

I think most XR6 came with the 4.25” diameter gearcase. The large tube trophy were 4.75”.
I think you need Mercury Racing hub kit 835258K2. But check that the prop will fit first.

Hello Roger: Your prop is too big for your gear case. Is the case a stock 4.25 diameter original case? The tube of the propeller need to fit inside of the gear case. The Trophy will not do this.

depends on year of XR6... somewhere in tha mid nineties they went ta tha bigger gearcase and 1.87's.....
another reason tha "little" XR6 case is very pricey......... slowly becomin' extinct..
loved tha trophy a40... small or large gear case.. best all around they ever produced for light weight v bottoms imo...they jus had a problem of chunckin' a blade or two (blades were pretty thin for a production prop) when ya surfaced and turned tha wick up to muchLast edited by tlwjkw; 12-11-2024 at 01:34 AM.
