280 Merc

A couple months back I purchased a Hydrostream with a 280. Boat is beautiful but motor has a bad cylinder. Needs 1 sleeve. Original plan was to mount a 200xs but decided that was not enough motor. Talked to a friend about the boat and he came and bought it without the motor. So now I have a hurt 280. I also have a 200xs powerhead. Before I remove 280 powerhead and install 200xs powerhead I thought I would see if anyone was interested in hurt 280 before I do the swap. Motor is very clean and sportmaster is newer than motor. If I do the swap I will be parting out powerhead at a later date. I know the 280 is worth more parted out but I would rather it go to someone that wants it fixed. I would fix it myself but have sold most of my equipment. $4500.

You had 1 hr on that one. 280's are hard to come by. Even if they need some work. I tried too. Was also late.
